Hi Jinxie...Wouldn't it depend on the TV being watched? I watch PBS for several hours each night...History channel...a few others...Very little "entertainment" stuff... I consider it enlightening...

as a teacher I see the definite results of too much TV on children's intelligence. All they know how to do is act out the things they see and the games they play. Children no longer know how to think, imagine or work out their problems, they resort to what they see on TV. IQs definitely plummet when one watches much TV.
