Will Adam Lambert Be First Openly Gay AI Winner? Bill O'Reilly Squirms
Are you a fan of Adam Lambert? Many television viewers are and there is much speculation that Adam might walk away with the new American Idol crown, representing the LBGT community as the first openly-gay contestant (at the time they won, that is - not 6 years after the fact, as in Clay Aiken). Though he has not categorically confirmed his sexuality, this video talking about his preference for kissing gives us a good inkling. While speaking about a female co-star he says, “I’ve got to kiss those lips, and although it’s not my preference *(pause - while audience chuckles)*, it was really nice.”
Watch Bill O'Reilly squirm through this segment where he tries consistently to rouse outrage from the guest analysts that perhaps voters should not extend their AI vote to Lambert because of his sexuality. He says, "On the internet, there are embarrassing pictures of Mr. Lambert. These pictures, that hint that he is gay, will they have an effect on this program which is a cultural phenomenon in America?" Though photos of Adam kissing a man are repeatedly splashed across the screen and O'Reilly repetitively tries to sneak his opinion in, the two guest commentators simply will not bite.

Although it is always funny to watch O'Reilly in a tizzy. To me, it wouldnt matter if Adam was purple, obese, gay, or asian, I dont think he's good enough to be the next American Idol. IMO he butchered Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire, and after Randy Jackson compared him to Trent Reznor, that did it in for me.
He's mediocre at best, and certainly NO Trent.

Blinky Clay Aiken, did not win american idol. Plus not only did he not come out, but he also used the "i'm not gay I'm a born again christian" crap. He will always get my scorn for that. Go Adam! For being, what and who you are!
he's too cocky to win, IMO! He THINKS he already has the title, and it drives me crazy! Danny and Allison are better!
