Very good quote,,,,,I can imagine Miles was kind of pulling notes from everywhere and in a sence abstract.....

A music teacher in Calcutta, India told me : "All artisans have their medium...a carpenter used wood, a sculpter, clay and stone, but muscians use time - ..we are sculpters of time" I like that, it makes sence to me.
