Today (5/7/09) is "Odd Day": $579 Prize For Odd Ode

Today (5/07/09) is a cool and rare day in terms of number sequences.  It is one of only six this century that contains three consecutive odd numbers.

Odd Days began with 1/3/5. "The previous stretch of six dates like this started with 1/03/1905---13 months after the Wright Brothers' flight," according to Ron Gordon, who runs a website for Odd Day and is offering a $579 prize to be distributed to those who involve the most people in the Oddest Parade of Odd Characters, write the best Odd Ode, or create the best Odd Celebrations.

very cool! this doesn't count but my birth date is 9/8/76, so in 2007 my b-day was 09/08/07. Crazy, eh?
