May 8th: On This Day in 1970~The Beatles - Let It Be (Video)
May 8, 1970 : The British soundrack recording for Let It Be was issued on May 8, 1970 on the Parlophone label, shortly after the breakup of the band was announced. The U.S. version of the Let It Be soundtrack album was released on May 18, 1970 by Capitol Records.
