Happiness is:

• My family
• Steve having an entire day off
• Beautiful weather
• Taking FastTrack on the freeway
• The kids getting along in the car
• A yummy vegan lunch at The Native in Costa Mesa
• No visible smog
• Listening to the new Anti-Flag album on the way
• Driving to Newport Beach to enjoy the afternoon
• Hunting for quarters for the parking meter
• Walking on the pier
• Wearing band T-shirts instead of bikinis
• Listening to my kids tell jokes
• Being mesmerized by the ocean
• Iced Tea
• Taking pictures of each other
• Enjoying the sea salt-touched breeze
• Appreciating the diversity that visits the beach
• Relaxing
• Laughing
• Strolling
• Sitting
• Smiling
• Wanting to push the pause button and rewind the day to play it again
