Vegan Chocolate Chip Pie: Easy Dessert Recipe

This recipe is so easy and so divine. Seriously, whether you are a vegan or not, this yummy little number is sure to please.

You only need four ingredients, a blender, a saucepan and a fridge.

Vegan Chocolate Chip Pie

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. block of silken tofu
  • 1 vegan graham cracker crust (just check the ingredient list on the pre-made crusts. Some do contain butter or milk products, but many are vegan)
  • 1 pkg (12 oz) vegan chocolate chips (I use Ghirardelli Double Chocolatesemi-sweet chips)
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla

Directions

1) Put the tofu and vanilla in a blender and mix until you have a smooth consistency.

2) Add 3/4 of the bag of chocolate chips to a sauce pan and slowly melt over medium heat, stirring frequently and watching carefully so they don't burn.

3) Add the melted chocolate to the tofu/vanilla in the blender and mix together.

4) Pour remaining 1/4 of chips into the blender and lightly mix together (not too vigorously, as you don't want the last 1/4th of the chips to get too broken down).

5) Pour the filling into the pie crust.

6) Chill for 3-4 hours in the fridge.

7) Enjoy!
