I have one or two pictures of me doing something like this. The children in Iraq, and Afghanistan are usually very excited to see soldiers... the adults not so much, either way the message stands true to what i believe in.
I think this also illustrates the beautiful inherent inner peace and innocence children possess. This little girl is fearlessly walking up to a heavily armed, foreign soldier and giving him a flower she took the effort to pick. So sweet and thoughtful. I hope it made his day, and changed his mind..
