very cool...i love books if it's just to sit and have a good read or look at amazing pages of artwork. books were always the one thing i could never say no to for my daughter, toys games assorted nonsense kids beg for those i could pass on but never a book. i love how much she loves to read and if it's a series she will read it straight through the day & night to finish it. my grandsons love having books read to them and it is such a nice relaxing fun way to bond. i also love giving books as gifts...i try to find a book that matches the person or event. BOOKS RULE!!!!

What a great quote and picture!!!

I got a new book yesterday (Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest) and while looking at it I thought about how a book is so much better than a dvd. The dvd is already played out for you and what you see is shot straight to your brain, that's how you remember it. The book, on the other hand, is more of an adventure....as you read it you make your own sort of "movie set" inside your mind, and everyone's mind is different. So no one see's a book the same exact way as another person, like we do in a movie.

I hope that made sense....if not, move along, nothing to see here...lol.
