Get 10 Free Trees While Making a Difference
Though Arbor Day was just a few days ago, on April 30th, it's never too late to celebrate the spirit of Arbor Day and make a difference to our environment by planting a tree.
At the Arbor Day Foundation, for just $10 you can become a member; and by joining will receive 10 FREE TREES! TEN!
You just sign up, plug in your zip code and they will recommend to you the types of trees that will do best in your hardiness zone.
In addition to the 10 trees, you will also receive a 33–56 percent discount on over 100 trees and shrubs (the selection includes shade, flowering, ornamental, fruit trees, evergreens and more); a subscription to their bimonthly newsletter; a gardener’s handbook and tree information guide; and The Tree Book (which is a guide to planting and caring for your trees).
If you don't have a place to plant the 10 trees, you can have them planted in a National Forest in your name.
It's such a great organization that is really making a difference and working hard to replant forests, educate children with Nature Explore Classrooms, preserving rain forests with their Rain Forest Rescue, and teaching about agroforestry and conservation at their Arbor Day Farm.
I just signed up after my friend Tiger became a member yesterday and forwarded the information to me. It's an opportunity that is hard to pass down.
Ten trees, baby! Get yours today!
