Tattoo Spotlight: Victor Portugal - True Tattooing Excellence
There is currently a lot of excellence taking place in the tattooing world. It's definitely exciting to witness the incredible talents and creativity that swirls around the industry. And when I think of excellence, once name that sky-rockets to the top of my list would have to be Victor Portugal.
This black and grey master continuously churns out stunning pieces of realistic work, each time with his own unique touches of brilliance. A tattooist for around twelve years now, Portugal currently lives in Krakow, Poland, where he owns 9th Circle Studio; keeping busy as ever, as the tattoo scene continues to explode there.
I have been lucky enough to work with Victor on a few projects. Recently, for an article in Tattooist Art Magazine, which you can catch here if you missed it. And previously for the Tattoo Prodigies* book project, of which Portugal was also featured in.

Every time I see a new piece of art created by Victor I am speechless and awed!!! I look at all the fine detail and the beauty of each piece for what feels like hours. His work is so beyond pure beauty. I loved the tattooist art article and i have Tattoo Prodigies which I pull out and look at all of the amazing talent almost daily.
