My New Pear Tattoo by Mike DeVries: Pomona Body Art Expo

On Saturday, Steve and I headed down to the Pomona Body Art Expo to take in a little tattoo convention fun, see oodles of the people we adore, do some networking for the new InkEditor.com business, and lucky for me...even sneak in a new tattoo.

The maestro of realism, Mike DeVries, excecuted another gorgeous piece to add to my collection; this time a succulent and oh-so-charming green pear, with a big juicy bite taken out of the side. Isn't it fantastic? I just love it!! I eat a pear every morning, so it seemed almost essential that I add one to my skin.

In addition to getting tattooed, we got to see many old friends, meet quite a few new ones, and were fortunate to hand out lots of postcards and business cards. So if you are new to the site via the pc or bc that you picked up at the show...welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay and will visit here often.

We spent much of the day hanging out in the MD Tattoo Studio booth, where lucky for me, Inez kept busy taking photos of the crew. Here are a few that she snapped throughout the day.
