The Power of Positive Self-Talk

Are your aware of your inner voice? What exactly does that mean, you ask? Well, we all conduct inner dialog with ourselves each day. That dialog is powerful and can sometimes mean the difference between a good day or a frustrating one.

Oftentimes referred to as “self-talk,” these intimate conversations can reflect on our attitudes, relationships, efficacy, and self-esteem.

  • What messages are you silently telling yourself throughout the day?
  • Are they helping to lead you in a positive direction?
  • Are they helping you to find your passion and follow the path in life that you dream of?

Keep positive thoughts and words flowing. If you realize that your self-talk includes negativities, try to swap out words like “never,” “can’t,” and “won’t” for positive ideas like “will,” “can,” and “try.” Exercises like this may seem simple, but their results can be monumental. 

The perspective that you create within yourself is where it all begins. Your ability to tackle projects, work on goals, and find happiness starts within your own mind.

So let the positivity flow and get out there today and make the first step towards something BIG that you have been putting off.

  • Trust in your inner strength.
  • Find what makes you happy.
  • Discover your talents and bring them to life.
  • Keep working at them little by little.
  • Nurture your goals and turn up the energy.
  • Be proud of yourself.
  • Enjoy your day by finding joy!
