ya, Steve, I don't think he/she reads all of the comments because he/she already gets their next comment from god while trying to read your great comments. Anywhoo, I'm gonna go have unprotected sex with my girlfriend who I sometimes live with, no worries, she has a special hanger for the abortion. Bigot's, read below for explanation....
The 'abortion' part of that joke was a joke. And I'm the 'poor sad' one? hahaha If I get struck by lightning while having sex, I'll make sure someone tells you two bozo's.
Suck on that you bib....shit Steve already said that. Must be the 2 hits of weed I smoked...a....9 days ago??...ya that's it.

Oh my dear friend, if we only knew what God has in store for each and every one of us, my how this world would be so different! If my parents knew for sure that their teaching me the ways of God and the preachings of Jesus would guarantee them a straight son, they would be so pleased and I would be thrilled to live my life as a heterosexual rather than live in a world that persecutes the homosexual man. I mean, for goodness sakes, why would I subject myself to all this pain and humiliation and evil hatred if being a homosexual was a choice. Seriously, you think I chose to be a homosexual just to give you something to hate me for? If it is a choice to be homosexual or heterosexual, when, pray tell, at what age did you chose to be heterosexual and why?
If my mother was 45 years old and she was raped by some sadistic, mental freak, then yeah, I would want my mother to have an abortion. You present yourself as being so righteous and all knowing, so tell me, what was my mother’s health condition when she was 45 years old? What was her physical situation at 45 years old? What was the fetus’s condition inside my mother at 45 years old? Please don’t preach to me the right and wrong of abortion until you’re in the situation of those who were faced with the agonizing decision of whether or not to abort a pregnancy. It is NOT my right as a man to decide that. It is NOT your husband’s right as a man to decide for you. It is NOT your pastor’s right to decide for you. If you are raped and impregnated, only YOU can decide what is right for YOU to do. If you have a 40% chance of living if you carry that baby to full term, what will you do? What will your God tell you to do? An even worse scenario is you, Anonymous, are a single lady, raped at 30 years old, pregnant and given a 40% chance of surviving if you carry to term. What will you do? What WILL you do??!! I hope you will have that baby and you will be blessed with a happy life, but if you sadly die in childbirth, your baby might need to be put up for adoption – adopted, maybe, by a loving same-sex couple who might have a dream come true and be given the opportunity to be parents….ouch! That would make you roll in your grave, wouldn’t it? Shame on you for your hatred. Shame on you for your condescending trust in others. What would Jesus do? Would He turn his back? Would he push his faith onto us? Ponder that before you answer.
Hey, this is America! EVERYONE has rights! All peoples are able to speak their opinions. We all will be held accountable on Judgment Day. We ALL will be held accountable to our actions. Shame on you, Anonymous, for suggesting the contrary.
@ =)
You don’t have anything to say to me? Because you know I’m right. You know good and well I’m frickin’ right!! Let me ask you: do you know any GLBT people? Seriously – people you can honestly call a friend or a family member who is Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transgender? I would guess not because if they know you, they will know better than to tell you because they know you would crucify them. Well, =), judge not – lest ye be judged. Jesus taught us that we should “Love thy neighbor as you love thyself” so no matter what, oh good Christian =), you must love me. Love me to the ends of the earth. So it is written in the Bible.
And please, =), don’t call my friends liars. You are calling my friend Tiger a liar when you call him a “stoner” – he’s never stoned anyone in his life! I know that for a fact! If you think he’s a pot-head, guess again!! I hope you never ever need medicine for a good Christian knows your body is a temple of God so you cannot taint it with medicines regardless if it’s an aspirin or medicinal marijuana. But once again, please do not judge my friends if you do not want to be judged.
@ Everyone else
I have to agree with Tiger: Anonymous and =) are not portraying the true Christianity they profess. A true Christian would be all-inclusive of others of different faiths, beliefs, and morals. Shame on you, Anonymous and =)! Shame on you!! You must be possessed by Satan to be so full of hatred and spite.
I’d also like to know why such good Christians are hiding behind “anonymous” and “=)” as their authoring name? Jesus was NEVER ashamed of who He was or where He came from, why are you?
P.S. We all have to come to grips with the English language here. When we write these posts, let's be mindful of some things: their, there, they're | than, then | your, you're, etc.!
@ Steve--I have NO tattoos and piercings! Why would I ruin my body like that? I am proud of the way I look, I don't need to cover it up with "art"! I don't even wear pierced earrings because my bird pulls them out!
@Craig-my point is that people use abortion as birth control and THAT is WRONG! And if I was raped, first off in a situation like that, the body shuts down and a very small margain of people, like less than 1%, actually get pregnant in a situation like that, and if I did, I would have the baby and put it up for adoption. Medical technology has advanced, you can have a C-section and deliver early if it's a health reason, and the baby can survive, my cousin survived and my aunt was just barely 5 months pregnant when he was born!
@ everyone
I will say it once again, and I'm leaving,so don't bother posting anything to me anymore: Homosexuality IS a choice! If it was not a choice, it would not be CONDEMNED in the Bible by God, and the Bible DOES NOT CHANGE BECAUSE OF THE TIMES!! One more thing....if gay marriage is allowed, who is to say that people won't be begging for polygomy to be legal, because it's their "civil right" to be married to as many people as they want? Or children being allowed to have sex (Im' talking about kids under the age of 12) because it's their "civil right?" Who's to say that it won't open the doors for legalization of rape and murder, because it's someone's "civil right" to act out their anger by killing someone?
Call me all the names you want, but someday when I am ushered into the gates to Heaven and I hear, "Well done, Good and Faithful One" from God, and you are sent away to the boiling, dark, bad place I am going to laugh and say "I told you so!" The reason Christianity has a bad name is because of people who think they can do whatever the heck they want just because they go to church and call themselves a Christian. And again I will also say I do NOT hate people, just the sin and the arrogant attitude that you have. Do not even compare this to slavery, either. Slavery was a horrible thing. People were physically abused and sold for money; there is no comparison. You are not being physically abused for your sexuality. Christians get far more abuse and persecution that you'll ever know. If you are not getting abused and persecuted as a Christian, you are not a true Christian. Persecution is people speaking evil against you, which you are doing against me, therefore I am being persecuted by you. Persecution is people being murdered for their faith in Christ, do you know what is happening to Christians around the world? They have to go underground to practice their faith because they are being persecuted! Would you do that? Would you die for your faith? If you answer "no", then you are not a Christian. I am telling you right now that if someone was holding a gun to my head and said "renounce your faith or die, " I would choose death. If you cannot answer that question the same way, you are not a true Christian. Would you die for your beliefs that gay people should be allowed to marry? If you truly believe in it, you should be able to answer yes. You should be able to stand up there and defend someone who is being threatened with death for their views. If you cannot do that, than you are being a hypocrit. God loves everyone, but He only accepts in Heaven those who follow His laws. Oh, one more thing....
I enjoy a good debate as much as anyone else, but when people start calling others degrading names (which I have not done, by the way), shame on them! This could be a friendly debate with both sides being debated, but some annoying people just can't seem to do that without slinging cruel insults at others! Using scripture is not a cruel insult/ calling people bigots and idiots is childish and rude.
This is @ Craig again.......And I'm not using my name because I don't want anyone of you cruel people to somehow track me down on myspace and post rude and obscene comments on my page, not because I'm ashamed of Jesus, so go away and be gay all you want, but if you really are a Christian, then when the tables turn and our rights are taken away, you BETTER be standing up and defending Christians as you are gay marraige, or you are a liar.
Lie Number 1, it doesn't wear earrings cuz it's bird pulls them out......that is funny on so many levels, but seriously, it says it doesn't have any piercings or ink, then the next line says "cuz my bird pulls them out" How does your bird pull out earrings you don't have?...hmmm.
And anonymous is the one who came to THIS blog and who spews hate, i.e. "so go away and be gay all you want" just one example. And it thinks we are gonna come to their myspazz page and talk shit to them. WRONG. What if the admin. of this site didn't let you 2 bozo's post here? You two would be mad that he/she was holding you down...so...don't you get that the reason I call you bigot is because you want to hold a whole class of people down? Oh, and the fact that your kid will not be gay because you will teach him/her what YOUR god says is right and wrong.....you're right, I shouldn't call you names, it comes out of your comments so smoothly that everyone here knows what you are. My goodness..."My bird pulls them out"??? My stoner friends who DO NOT smoke weed got a good laugh out of that.
@Craig
Man, I thought they didn't want to respond to you because you're gay and that's a sin to them. Well after reading your last comment, it's easy to understand...you are one of the most articulate, eloquent, and definitely the smartest person I know....now go get married and send some pics my way so we can post them on Jinxi's amazing blog. 'Equality for All!' even the girl and her bird. Seriously.
@ steve
wow!!! u quoted scripture!!!!!
awesome job!!!
@craig
I do have gay family and friends...they get ME,just like I accept who they are. and I get them!...and NO YOU ARE NOT RIGHT.... anyway,I'm done responding to Sinful Selffish gays and their non-helpful buddies that wanna change the world with their 1/2 truths (NOW YOU KNOW THAT THAT IS RIGHT!!!)
@ tiger
I can say this....you have made me laugh on a few occasions, thats all I can give ya stoner....oh wait, this is also for Craig!!!! Why would I be surprised at you defending Tiger NOT being a stoner? when ur a "Christian gay man"...hahhahahhaha,what a laugh!!!!
@ tiger
one more thing, just because you won't put hateful gay comments on anon myspace page...does not mean other gay (haters toward Christians) won't.....alot of Gays(not all) are hateful, and JUST WANT TO MAKE THEIR POINT!....so I can understand anon's point and ur's...but lets face it, all people can be hateful.
@ Anonymous
You are not worth anymore time, looser. Oh, and I think doth protest to much. Just accept your sexuality and stop hating yourself so much for your feelings.
@ =)
Please, I would happily go head to head with you on scriptures. I noticed that you did not answer my question. So, um what about the tattoos? You know you have them, you know you have your hair colored. You know you consider yourself one of the cool christians, I can smell it a mile away. So many "real Christians" would ban your ass to hell. Anonymous would, your pal and friend on here. Like I said, I find it funny that the most judgmental people are really just judging themselves and their shortcomings in life when they spew their crap.
Oh and I extend the offer to you, bible class - your place or mine - bring it.
all people CAN be hateful as evidenced by you. You do not have gay friends! Or at least they do not know your true feelings. Keep writing comments, you are showing us all who really has the most hate. I apologize for my rips on you. I don't expect any apologies from you, and you and everyone in here knows why. Goodbye.
the above was meant for =)
@ Anon and "=)"
It would totally crack me up if the day of "the rapture" came and the only ones to be taken were the Atheists... Seriously, then it would be me laughing at you both and saying "I told you so.
You see, what really intrigues me the most is WHY those who call themselves Christian, and know the Holy book from cover often are the ones who come up short on emulating Jesus.
Maybe so-called Christians would not be "persecuted" (as one of you stated) if they worried about appliying the :"biblically correct" things in their own lives first ONE BY ONE. Remember, people often learn best by example.
..and to make this short. WHY is it that the most "Christ-like" people I know, are often those who don't even believe in him in the first place? I strongly believe that if Christ was to come back, it would be the Christians that would PERSECUTE him. Think about it. He was totally what some would call a liberal. He was all for compassion, and he preached the one thing that trully matters. That is love. Love for mankind, and your fellow human. Divine love ( love that comes from the soul).
Okay, A couple things. First, this is quite a discussion going on. Secondly, a kindergartener would know that Anonymous meant she/ he has pierced ears but doesn't wear earrings anymore because of the bird who pulls them out! I got that and I only had to read it once! Thirdly, if gay people want to get married, fine, but what I think everyone is getting at is that NOBODY should be forcing anyone to accept anyone else's views, whether they are Christian or gay or whatever. Christian people do not force religion down anyone's throat, they just don't want other people telling them to shut up or have anyone push their values out the door of the church, as with a lot of gay people who seem to think it's okay to tell a church that they cannot preach against gay people, when it's found in the Bible. If you want to go to a church, go find one that preaches the way you believe and leave the other churches who do not believe in this alone. There are plenty out there; that's why there are so many denominations today, people have their own interpretations and go to one that suits you rather than force another church to change their views-that is wrong! And lastly, NOONE answered Anonymous's question; so for all of you out there who are claiming to be Christians, WOULD YOU DIE FOR YOUR FAITH? WOULD YOU STAND UP THERE AND DEFEND CHRISTIANS AS YOU ARE GAYS IF CHRISTIAN RIGHTS WERE TAKEN AWAY? If you cannot answer both those questions with a YES, I am in complete agreement with Anon...you are NOT a Christian.

whoops. somehow that got posted twice
@ you'll never know
@ anoymous
"WOULD YOU DIE FOR YOUR FAITH? WOULD YOU STAND UP THERE AND DEFEND CHRISTIANS AS YOU ARE GAYS IF CHRISTIAN RIGHTS WERE TAKEN AWAY?"
I am certainly not a christian nor am a I religious in any sense of the word. Even though this question was directed at what you call "real christians" I will answer you. YES, I would die for your right to be ignorant. Just like I would fight for the rights of a Muslim, a gay man or woman, a Morman, someone with special needs, homeless, someone from another land, well basically ANYONE. You see that is a key difference between the fundamental way that you and I think, I wast EVERYONE to be FREE and EQUAL, you want to reserve those rights only for those who think as you do.
You have the right to think that gay is bad, you have the right to teach that to your kids, or your parishioners. However, once that spills out to hold another down, well it is time to take it to the streets and fight. We will see who has the guts to fight for what they believe in.
EQUALITY to ALL, including those you disagree with.
@ steve
BIBLE CLASS STARTS NOW!!!!!!!!!
Find me the scripture in the bible where God says Homosexuality is NOT a sin.....
and please don't find scripture and re-word it,and twist it around.....
@ =)
Interesting, loaded, but interesting. Before we start, please let me know if you read the bible literally or if you view it as being open to interpretation. It is important that we establish this point first.
Thanks,
Steve
@ =)
Oh and to clarify, which parts of the bible did god write again? Sorry had to say it. Time to be serious.
@ =)
Please show me where it says in the bible that a committed homosexual relationship is a sin. I assume you will give one of the seven tired boring answers that are frequently used to answer this. Thankfully, those are easy enough to dispute.
Please do not forget to let me know if you read the bible literally or not.
=),
let's smoke before you guys start, eh?
@ everyone...
how about Leviticus 18:22--"Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."
Leviticus 20:13--"If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. "
Romans 1:24-27--"Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator, who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this , God gave them over to their shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecents acts with other men and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."
1 Cor. 6: 9-10--"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolators, nor adulterers or male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders, nor thieves, nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers, nor swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God."
Genesis 19:4-7 (talking about 2 men in Sodom)--"Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom-both young and old-surrounded the house. They called to Lot "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so we can have sex with them. Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him and said "No my friends. Don't do this WICKED thing."
That's all I can remember right now.
@ you'll never know
Leviticus also stipulates that any man who touches a woman during her menstrual period is to be stoned to death, that adulterers are to be executed, that interracial marriage is sinful, that two types of cloth are not to be worn together, and certain foods must never be eaten. Are we to follow everything in Leviticus?
------------------------------
-----
Romans 1:24-27 -- I ask you, what is the "the natural use of a woman" - sex and sex only? Further, it is important to put Paul's letter to the Roman in context. I believe that he was not talking about committed same sex couples (which is what I specifically asked in my question), but was talking about other things. Such as heterosexual men and woman who engaged in unnatural "homosexual" orgies (unnatural to a heterosexual person, not unnatural to a homosexual person.) Additionally, he was referring to older men keeping younger boys (which most people, including homosexual people, would agree is wrong.) Another interpretation is that he was referring to casual homosexual encounters (not committed same sex couples.) As far as I know, Paul never wrote about committed same sex couples, unless you put your own spin on his writings (NIV)
The Apostolic Restoration Mission, a Pentecostal organization (your church), states, "...God created each of us with a sexual orientation. To attempt to change it is, in effect, telling God that He created us wrong. The creation does not have the right to 're-create' itself." Virtually all respected scientist, doctors and psychologist agree that homosexuality is not a choice, but is in fact a way of birth. You can say it is a choice all you want, but that does not change the accepted science on the issue.
Lastly, even if Paul was talking about committed same sex couples, we must also remember what else Paul said. He told women not to teach, not to cut their hair, not to speak in church. He told slaves to obey their masters not once, but five times -- are we prepared to say today, as slave owners argued 150 years ago, that slavery is God's will?
Do you follow Paul's teachings?
Are you a follower of Paul or Christ?
---------------------------------------------
1 Cor. 6: 9-10 -- um, what version of the bible are you reading. If your version actually says the word "homosexual" then you need to throw that crap out and get a real bible that has not been rewritten based on ones agenda.
Given your conservative views and the words in the passage that you quoted, I will assume that you have the New International Version, am I correct?
Many people believe that Paul was not writing about Homosexuals in the terms that you know and think of today. If Paul wanted to refer to homosexual behavior, he would have used the word "paiderasste." That was the standard Greek term at the time for sexual behavior between males. I know that the NIV (and many others versions) use the term homosexual so as to include woman because paiderasste did not refer to woman. Additionally, many people do not believe that Paul was speaking for god, but rather speaking based on his own views. You cannot argue that all of this is open to interpretation based on ones own agenda. Lastly, how about the other things that Paul said? (see above)
----------------------------------------------
Genesis 19:4-7
Most people without an agenda will agree that this story was not about consensual same sex behavior, but instead about gang rape. I agree with you that if there is a god, then gang rape should be a sin. Be it same sex or "opposite sex" (Miss California reference.)
Um, why was Lot spared, he offered his little daughters to the crowd, what a dad. If there ever was a sin, it would be to offer ones own daughters to be "known" by an angry crowd of crazed men.
Lastly, wasn't god going to kill all the men, women, children and infants in all of Canaan? Lucky for them Abraham was able to strike a deal with god. I did not know that god was able to be convinced not to do something. I guess he is not all knowing.
If you read the bible literally (especially the NIV version) and as you put it are a "real christian" I ask you why you are not out stoning everyone who it condemns to death?
@ =)
Where did you go? Are you still looking the word literal up in your dictionary? Man, I can be such a dick sometimes. Sorry.
@ Steve the dick....sometimes
God damn!!! oops. Golly gee, that was darn good son!
LETSGETITON!!!!
@ you'll never know
I do not intend to change your views, but I would like to try and point out that you simply have your version of what your god wants. There are countless other versions just as valid as yours. Why should be give your interpretation any more weight than anyone else's views.
@ Steve.....
Since you did it politely, and without calling me any names, I will take the time to say that you have made a good argument. I am still going to believe what I believe and have my reasons. I will also say that, yes, I do have the NIV, but I also have the KJV as well as the NKJV and the TEV,and the Message Bible. the KJV says in 1 Cor. 6:9 the word "effiminate" which translates in the footnotes to homosexual. The TEV says in that same verse: "homosexual perverts". The NKJV uses the word "homosexual" as well. My mom currently has my Message Bible, so I can't look that one up right now.
But I would also like to say that your above quote about the Apostolic Restoration Mission saying that "God gave us all a sexual orientation and it is not up to us to change that" (okay so I'm summarizing what you said)....I believe it is talking about the fact that we are born either a woman or man and it is not our choice to change that. So what if a guy likes to garden or cook or a woman likes to play sports (which I do, by the way). That's my line of thinking on that.
I believe that God did not kill all the women, men, children and babies because Abraham was faithful and was going to follow through on what God told him to do (I might be confused and thinking about a different story) in sacrificing his son, so God spared them all because of Abrahams faithfulness and following Him.
And I'm not out stoning people because Commandment # 5 is THOU SHALT NOT KILL.
Is there a way to bookmark this link so I don't have to keep searching back through all the older posts? I'm having a good time with this and would like to keep coming back, but it's a slow process having to go back through so many older blog pages. So if I don't come back to this one, look for me on other, newer blogs.
