She's not MY Miss California!

Yay!!! for Miss Cali!! She stands by what she believes!!! she is NOT alone!!!!

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered Commenter=)

This girl just needs to go off and start her Beauty Pageant Ministry. She has to be careful though because many of the people she claims to represent will not allow a girl to be in that position, ie Catholic, Mormon, Southern Baptist Convention and many Protestants to name a few. She can speak, but she cannot hold any real position of authority.

Oh well, it is simply a matter of time until her, this group and the rest are written into history as the BIGOTS that they are.

@ =)

hahahahahah, David Duke does not stand alone either. In fact he probably stand right next to you and Miss California. One big lot of Bigots.

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterSteve

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterAbril

@ abril.....
yea, because there are not enough PRO-GAY campaigns, and organizations!!!! lol!

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered Commenter=)

@ =)

Well hate is hate. Bigotry due to the color of ones skin, ones sexuality or ones sex is bigotry just the same. I do not think I am being hateful for calling you out on your views. You are free to hate all you want, but if you want to hold an entire group of people down as second class citizens then you deserve what you get. If I had to guess your next comment will probably be, "I do not hate gay people, I have many gay friends" - that one is always a classic with the bigots.

Maybe you should try love, happiness and acceptance.

@ =)

ahaha, you get a gold star for knowing who David Duke is - thanks for stating what everyone else already knew.

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterSteve

Hey smiley person....are you Steve Finely aka therevoltingspellchecker aka lisa aka ignorant? I guess we'll find out when you respond to my shitty grammar and typing skills.

Bring on the 3 and a half page response....I find it funny when you and the bigots get all uppity. hahahaha....more hits for Jinxi's blog, yay!!! Notice I said YOU and the bigots, so don't say I'm calling you names, bigot. oops!

You: "yea, because there are not enough PRO-GAY campaigns, and organizations!!!! lol!" and "Yay!!! for Miss Cali!! She stands by what she believes!!! she is NOT alone!!!!"....and Steve is the hater, too funny. Change your name to '=(' it coincides with your comments better. Please keep at it with Steve, I can't wait that!!!....

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterTiger

sorry, I meant ..."I can't wait for* that" --I don't want a response back to me about how I forgot to type 'for' there at the end.

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterTiger

I think it' s just a matter of days now before Fox News hires her. Being ignorant gets you pretty far in that world. I forgot, when exactly did we assume Pageant contestants were role models?

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterJulie

The conservative motto these days is "Hate and then pretend to be the victim when someone calls you on it." They think it brings them closer to God. As for me, I'm kind of hoping for a front row seat when they try to get into Heaven and find out that they took the wrong path altogether. Jesus was a liberal who would most likely be hanging with gay folk right now.

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterJulie

@ Tiger.....

nope!!! I don't know who that is....It's just me,the :) person!!!!
YOU MUST BE GAY....
like all gays agree on...."If ur not with us,ur against us"
blah,blah,blah....gay people are so predictable...keep preaching ur bs,and keep pointng the finger at all Christians, and who ever else does not agree with you...
Tell me something......if "GAYS" want equal treatment like straight couples....what will stop people from getting married to their pets, farm animals,furniture,cars...I mean, they want EQUAL treatment, why not marry anyone or anything right??? where in the world do you draw the line?????
now that is ignorant....keep backing up people untill they marry whatever (or whoever )they want...pssshhhh.... it's not hate I feel it's sadness for liberals that follow crazyness(like u Tiger ....all you can do is squash people for spelling..hahhahhaaa!!! Because you know thats all that matters in life is good spelling!!! BAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHA!)

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterTiger

okay, I have a thought for you all who are claiming that those who are against gay marriage are bigoted: YOU can stand up and speak up for YOUR beliefs and views and you call it a hate crime when someone speaks against them, but when someone else, perhaps someone who is a Christian, stands up and speaks THEIR beliefs and morals, you call THEM a bigot and jump down there throat??!!?!?! If YOU can have free speech and opinions, why can't the people who disagree with you have THEIR say without you jumping down their throat? It's a two-way street and YOU are the bigots here!! And by the way, this is for the poster Steve: when you said **You are free to hate all you want, but if you want to hold an entire group of people down as second class citizens then you deserve what you get.**, you are being hypocritical; you seem to be holding anyone who does not hold your views down as second class citizens just because they think differently than you! If this was not true, you'd say, okay well we agree to disagree and let it be. I'm getting sick of everyone who is not for gay marriage being pinned as a prejudice or homophobic. It's called having your own mind and beliefs!!!!!!!!!!! If you do not agree with this, then tell me, what would you say to someone who is a Christian, just supporting what THEY believe in? If you want to do it peacefully, then let everyone else do it peacefully!

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered Commenteranonymous

interesting...

we have one person who stands up for what they believe in, and she's viewed as strong and risk-taking with high morale and values...

on the other hand, we have people that stood up for what they believed in and are called attackers...

God Bless America

@ anonymous...

The hypocrites here are the hating, judging people that claim they are so "open minded!!!" on this site!!!!

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered Commenter=)

tearing down another group of people again?? I'm not a stoner, I do smoke for relief of degeneration of my spine. I can give you my doctors number if you want to talk about medi pot. You're so funny, my girlfriend is right here laughing at you, actually she's shaking her head in disgust of your comments. But she was laughing when she read my comment about my alpaca girlfriend. And guess what, she' a christian!!!! da dada dun! and SHE thinks you are so lost, just like you mentioned about looking into this 'perverse world' to find meaning. I am so sorry for thinking you were high, I know a lot of people who get high(ya, including me, doh!) and they lead amazing, meaningful lives and are HAPPY. I wouldn't want to lump you in with that group you would call 'stoners'. You seem very mad at this 'perverse world'.
And the feeling like an idiot for talking to me....you said it buddy ;-) there's a sarah palin wink for ya!

Actually, you tear down like 8-9 things in your comments, lets see....

gays, gay marraige, pets, farm animals, furniture, cars, potheads, bigots, and Tiger's...

and I'm the hateful bigot??

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterTiger

@ Anonymous

Um, you can have your views all you want. I can have my views all I want. We agree on that. The difference is that my views only affect my life. Your views, however, affect the lives of millions upon millions of loving caring human beings.

There is a huge difference.

If I had my way and I was gay and wanted to marry another man, it would make no difference to you. Please do not try the tired old, taught in school crap, that is nothing more than a red herring. Be a Christian all you want, worship anything you like. I could care less.

People are free to hate, be bigots, be racist, be religious, be atheist or be anything. However, when that trait is institutionalized and supported by the government and it violates a civil right then it is wrong. It is that simple.

@ =)

hahahahahah, marry your table. My goodness, that is such a lame argument. Are you ashamed to actually type that sentence? Besides how lame it is, it is a completely poor analogy. You see (regardless of how you feel about it) marriage is a contractual institution. Two adults can enter into a contractual obligation. An adult and an animal, table, or any other silly thing you want to put in cannot enter into a contractual obligation. Basically, come up with better points to support your argument or do not participate. As for drawing the line, I suppose that should be up to the adults participating in the agreement. Your exact same argument was used against interracial marriages not that long ago. Would you ask an African American man why he should be allowed to marry a white woman with such indignation. I mean, whats next would he want to marry a table next. As lame as that sounds, that is YOU.

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterSteve

You mean I can't marry my Alpaca? Phooey! HE's gonna be pissed. So anyway, this Miss California girl sucks....

Jinxi, sorry to ruin your comments with my stupidity, but my stupidity came from reading some other comments that weren't too smart, shall I say?

It's a touchy subject and I only act silly to lighten up the mood.

So when's the next blog Jinxi? hah hah, when when.......ruff...

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterTiger

@ Tiger

You cannot marry your alpaca, but you can have a domestic partnership with him. Oh and many of these bigots do not hat your alpaca, damn their best friends are probably alpacan.

You gay penguin lover you.

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterSteve

ugh. bigotry is not cute on anyone

April 29, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterTheMeagan

Ahhh, the old "if gays can marry then soon it will be farm animals" argument. I expected nothing more. I imagine that one was used when women were allowed to vote, or when black ppl fought for their rights as well. Sounds like you guys need some new material. I'm convinced too that the only way you will ever really be able to see yourself as the bigot you really are is when at least one of your children or grandchildren are gay. May your children grow up gay and proud and in charge of the parade-:)

Anon - I wanted to go ahead and give you some bullet points you can take with you when you go to spread your hatred to other websites. I'm sure the sarcasm will be lost on you, but I'm passing it along anyway, Your welcome.
1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans
