Jinxi Stencil: Octopus Street Art in 4-Layers
I'm a huge street art fan. I mean, what's cooler than coming across an incredible splash of stencil graffiti, wheatpasting, sticker art, aerosol aptitude, or poster plastered beauty; right?
It is due to this urban art love that I was especially delighted when my friend Andi sent me the newest addition to her fantastic stencil art portfolio. This talented beauty decided to make a 4-layer stencil of me, based on this photo taken by Michelle X Star. Woah...rad, right? So much fun and such an honor.
I thought I'd share the stencil love today.
Below are all four layers and this is what it looks like completed.
Each image can be viewed larger when you click on it.
**This is a four-layer stencil, so it requires four different colors (black and three others), that can be used in order from lightest to darkest.
The layers are numbered in order of the way they are sprayed, going lightest to darkest (stencil #1 is sprayed with the lightest color paint & the final layer would be in black color). In between each layer spray, remove and wait for each to dry.
If you happen to see a "Jinxi Stencil" out there in the world, be sure to snap a photo and email it to me via the Contact Me link so that it can be added to the Gallery.
Over & Out,
